About Parkit Greece

• While booking to our app bear in mind that we make sure to have the best experience possible but we can not guarantee that there will not be any unexpected incidents 
• While booking a parking spot on our app we are responsible only for the app and its good function
• We collaborate with local businesses (in the food and coffee and fueling section) that may not follow our policies
• We are authentic, with full ownership of our logos and code, we do not copy anyone and we make sure to stand out from the rest apps listed on the play store and app store 

Our Platform

• We make sure we follow by letter our standards about the enlisting of a parking spot, but we can not guarantee that all the information given by our lenders is exact
• We take no credibility about the information given by our users
• Our Platform does not constitute a recommendation or endorsement of any Service Provider or its products, services
• The Service Provider is solely responsible for your parking Experience
• To make a Reserve, you may need to create an Account. Ensure that all your information (including payment and contact details) is correct and current. Otherwise, you may find that you cannot access your reservation. You are responsible for everything that happens to your Account. For this reason, do not let anyone else use it, and keep your username and password confidential
• We will show you the offers available to you, based on your current location, in the language that (we think) is appropriate for you. You can change the language at any time.
• Unless otherwise specified, you must be at least 17 years old to use the Platform
• We make sure we do not display any type of sexual content, disrespectful or hate speech and if any comment is made with this type of behavior it will be restricted or deleted as soon as is detected
• In the case of force majeure (death, injury, health issues, and more) we make sure to help and facilitate the involved parties (lender and driver) 
• In our app, we process payments with visa and MasterCard, google and apple pay 

We may collect the following types of information when you use our app:

• Personal information: We may collect personal information that you provide to us, such as your name, email address, and billing information when you purchase our app.
• Location information: We may collect your location information to provide you with location-based services, such as finding nearby stores or services. We will ask for your consent before collecting this information.

•  We allow users to consent to our collection of their data before we begin collecting and sending it from the device, including data about third-party accounts, email, phone numbers, installed applications, files, location, and other personally sensitive data that the user would not expect to be collected.
•  The handling of personal and sensitive user data collected must be done securely, including its transmission, and using modern cryptography (for example, via HTTPS).
•  Software, including mobile applications, may transmit personal and sensitive user data to servers only when they are related to the functionality of the application.

•  We do not display advertisements that appear to users in unexpected ways, such as reducing or hindering the usability of device functions or displaying them outside the context of the application that activated them, without being easily overlooked and without sufficient consent and attribution.
• Our application does not interfere with other applications or the usability of the device.
•  Uninstallation, where applicable, is explicit.
•  The mobile software does not mimic prompt messages from the device's operating system or other applications. 
•  We do not remove notifications to the user from other applications or the operating system, in particular those notifying the user of changes to the operating system.

Data

Let's start with the basics:

- The way we handle your data is characterized by transparency because protecting your privacy is important to us. You have shown us trust by using Parkit Greece services and we appreciate it. We act in the best interests of our customers and provide transparency regarding the processing of your data.

- This document ("this Privacy Policy" or "our Privacy Policy") describes simply and clearly how we use and process your data. It also states what rights you can exercise about your data and how you can contact us.

- We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time, so we recommend that you visit this page regularly to keep up to date. If we make any updates to this Privacy Policy that will significantly affect you, we will notify you of the changes before any new activities begin.

What kind of personal data does Parkit Greece collect?

- Because we cannot help you book your ideal parking space without certain information when you use our services we ask you for certain information. These include basic details such as your full name, preferred contact details, and your payment details.

- In addition, we collect information from the phone, tablet, or another device you use to access our app. This includes your IP address and language settings.

- Several pieces of information about you when you use our app are collected automatically. In particular:

Personal data you provide to us

1.  Parkit Greece collects and uses the information you provide us. When you make a Parking Space Reservation, you are asked (at least) for your full name, phone number, and your email address when you create a personal account within our application. Also, if you need to contact our customer service team or the Parking Space Provider through us, or contact us in any other way (for example via social media or through the automated chat function) we collect information about you from there as well. This applies whether you contact us to tell us what you think or ask for help when using our services.
2. You may also be invited to write comments to let others know about your experiences when using our app and the Car Parks you have used. When you write a comment on our platform, we will collect any information you have included, along with your profile name and avatar (if you have chosen one).
3. There are other instances in which you provide us with information. Initially, the Address, Postal Code, City, Country, Longitude, and Latitude is used in Live Streaming. The reason why we need the above data is for the optimal provision of our services, as well as for the smooth operation of our application, to ensure the commitments and releases of parking spaces, but also to provide competitive coupons and third-party services to each user, suggesting the closest restaurants, cafes, and bars to your location. All of the above Personal Data is collected automatically.
4. If you create a user account, we will also store your settings there, the photos you have uploaded (in case you provide the Parking Space), and your comments on previous reservations. This stored information can help you take advantage of other features available only to account holders (such as coupons or other benefits). You can also choose to add details from your identification documents to your user accounts so that you do not have to submit these details for each Parking Space Reservation or respective provision of the Parking Space.
5. When you link your Parkit Greece user account to your social media account, you may enable data exchanges between Parkit Greece and that social media provider. You can always choose not to share this data. Travel Providers may also share information about you with Parkit Greece. This may happen when you have questions about a pending Parking Reservation or when disputes or other issues arise with a Parking Reservation.

In addition, we use your Information for marketing activities.

These actions include:

1. You can unsubscribe from promotional email updates easily and at any time. You can easily unsubscribe from our promotional emails and receive them at any time, easily and conveniently, by simply clicking on the "unsubscribe" link in any newsletter or other communication, or by managing your preferences through your account settings.
2. Based on your information, personalized offers may be displayed to you on our app and our website parkitgreece.com, mobile apps or third party websites/apps (including social media websites) and the website content displayed to you may be personalized. These are offers that you can book directly through our Parkit Greece app or on co-branded websites, or third party offers and products that may be of interest to you.
3. When you participate in other promotions (such as sweepstakes, referral programs or contests), only relevant information will be used to administer these offers.
4. Improving our services: We also use personal data for analytical purposes and to improve the services we provide. This is part of our commitment to provide you with better services and improved user experience.In this case, we use data for testing and troubleshooting purposes, as well as to generate statistics about our business. The main objective here is to obtain information about the performance of our services, how they are used and ultimately to optimise and adapt our app and website, making them easier and more meaningful to use. To the extent possible, we strive to use anonymous and non-identifiable personal data for this analytical work.
5. Legal purposes: Finally, in some cases we may need to use your information to administer and resolve legal claims and disputes, for regulatory and compliance investigations, to enforce the terms of use of Booking.com's online booking service, or to comply with lawful requests for law enforcement.

Licenses and APIs with access to sensitive information

Requests for licenses and APIs with access to sensitive information are clearly presented to you, the users, and are as follows:

- API to collect information Geographical Longitude, Latitude In Live Broadcast (location).

- API for collecting mobile phone speed information (specifically from React Native Sensors), through the use of the Accelerometer sensor.

- API for processing payments via credit cards and other payment methods.

All the above information is collected in order to ensure the smooth operation of our application and to ensure the smooth realization of parking reservations and releases. That is, we use the permit (and any data derived from the permit) only to provide the approved basic functionality of our Parkit Greece application. The core function is defined as the main purpose of the app.

We do not use alternative methods (including other licenses, APIs or third party sources) to extract data attributed to the licenses associated with the call or SMS log.

We do not solicit location licenses from users for the sole purpose of advertising or analytics.

Aggressive download programs

• Our application does not constitute unwanted software or download other unwanted mobile software (MUwS).
• We do not perform downloads without user interaction.
• All software downloads are initiated by obtaining user consent.

Ad fraud

• Our application does not contain third-party adware.
• Unauthorized use or imitation of system functionality.
• Our application does not contain applications or advertisements that mimic or interfere with system functionality, such as system-level notifications can only be used for the integral features of an application.

Social Engine

• Our application does not mislead the user that it is another application so that the user performs actions that the user intended to perform in the original trusted application

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the security of your information, but no data transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. We cannot guarantee the security of your information and are not responsible for any unauthorized access to or use of your information.

Malicious Program.

• Our application is free from malicious behavior (i.e., malicious programs). With this fundamental principle, we seek to provide a secure ecosystem to users.
• We do not aim to violate the integrity of the user's device.
• We do not assume control of the user's device.
• We do not enable operations via remote control whereby an attacker can access, use, or otherwise exploit an infected device.
• We do not transmit personal data or credentials from the device without adequate disclosure and consent.
• We do not disseminate unwanted content or commands from the infected device to affect other devices or networks.
• We do not aim to deceive the user.
• Our app does not automatically charge the user in a deliberately deceptive manner
• SMS scam:
• Our app does not charge users for sending extra billing SMS without their consent or attempt to disguise SMS activities by concealing disclosure agreements or SMS messages sent by the mobile operator to the user to inform them of changes or subscription confirmations.

Call fraud:

• Our app does not charge users by making calls to premium rate numbers without the user's consent.

Fee fraud:

• Our app does not mislead users so that they obtain a subscription or purchase content through their mobile accounts.
• Our app is not a tracking app however there is a possibility of collecting personal or sensitive data for the full functioning of our app.
• Our app does not compromise the integrity of the system by breaking the app's testing environment (sandbox) by obtaining upgraded permissions or by changing or disabling access to key security-related features.
• We do not violate the Android licensing model or steal credentials (such as OAuth tokens) from other applications.
• We don't abuse features to prevent them from being uninstalled or shut down.
• We don't disable SELinux.
• Our application does not target the following:

1. Locking the user out of their device and demanding money to reset the user's control.
2. Encrypting data on the device and demanding payment, ostensibly for decrypting the data.
3. Exploiting device policy management functions and disabling the user's ability to override.

• Our app does not transmit personal data from the device without adequate notice or consent. For example, transmitting any of the following information without disclosure or in a manner not expected by the user is sufficient to be treated as spyware:

1.  a contact list
2. photos or other files from the SD card that do not belong to the application
3. content from the user's e-mail
4.  a call log file
5. SMS log file
6. web history or browser bookmarks of the default browser
7. information from the /data/ directories of other applications.

Your Choices

You can control the information we collect by adjusting your device settings or by not using our app. You may also contact us to delete your information or to request access to your information.
